Here is some helpful information for your upcoming 2-Day Tour. You will receive another email the day before your tour with more information including your exact pickup time.

### Packing, and What To Wear:

The weather can vary during the tour, but please know that from October until April, there is a chance for it to be very cold. To help you enjoy places that tend to get cold, please bring a large jacket, a warm hat, gloves, scarves, and whatever else you have to keep you warm.

The summers can get hot, but temperatures vary. To help you figure out what to prepare, check the weather forecast for one of the hottest locations on the tour - Las Vegas, NV - and one of the coldest locations on the tour - Grand Canyon National Park.

As for hiking boots, most of our travelers don't use them. However, in the winter/wetter months there can be mud or ice on some trails you will hike, and hiking boots may help with that.

### Luggage:

Please remember that all participants are limited to one soft-styled bag for the trip, luggage of any size, including carry ons, is not allowed.

Most Las Vegas hotels will hold your luggage for you. Ellis Island, Paris Las Vegas, Trump International, and Hilton Grand Vacations on the Las Vegas Strip will not hold your luggage for you. If you are staying at one of their properties, plan on taking your bags to a nearby hotel.

You want to check your bags at your hotel's Bell Desk. Most hotels have very inconsistent policies about storing bags at their bell desk. We have had many guests call their hotel and be told they can keep their bags there, only to get a different answer at the Bell Desk on the morning of their tour.

We have hosted over 20,000 people on our overnight tours, with most of them storing their luggage before their tour. Here are our best tips for getting the Bell Desk to take your luggage:

Do it the night before your tour.

Tip your bellman, $5 when dropping your bags should suffice.

If you check the bags the night before the tour and they ask when you are coming back to get them, your answer should be "tomorrow afternoon"

If checking your bags in the morning before your tour, your answer should be "this afternoon".

Many hotels have an inconsistent policy on how long they will hold your bags. Be assured, they would have to hold them for more than 30 days before they attempted to get rid of them.

### Cash:

Most places along the tour route take credit cards. You should bring some cash for tips along the way. We roughly estimate $35 per person, $5 for your Antelope Canyon Guide, as well as $30 for your MaxTour guide. All tips and gratuities are optional yet greatly appreciated.

We will reserve a Lower Antelope Canyon tour ticket for every member of your party. We will send you a payment link during the tour where you can pay for these using your credit card, or you may pay in cash ($75) directly to your tour guide. These reservations will be pre-arranged, and are non-refundable. As a result, if you or any members of your party do not wish to participate in the Antelope Canyon portion of your tour you will need to inform us prior to your tour, and you may do so via phone or email. If you have not told us that you don't want to take the Antelope Canyon tour prior to your tour's departure from Las Vegas then you will be responsible for paying the $75 non-refundable entrance fee.

### Pickup:

Your pickup time will be between 5:30 and 6:30 in the morning on the first day of your tour. If you haven’t given us your pickup location, please respond to this email and let us know what hotel you want to be picked up from.

We will email you the day before your tour to give you your exact pickup time and place, you can also call us the day before your tour to receive your tour time.

Seating arrangements within the tour van are based on the goal of keeping all groups seated in direct proximity to their travel companions. We are not able to guarantee preferential seating requests will be honored. Please be advised that seating arrangements may change during the course of your tour in order to accommodate the varying needs of groups within the tour van.

### Drinks and snacks:

We will provide unlimited bottled water, drinks, and simple snacks during the tour. There will be frequent stops at gas stations where you can buy your own snacks, hot coffee, and other necessary items.
