--- title: 'Speak for Climate' disqus: hackmd --- Speak for Climate === ## Table of Contents [TOC] ## What are we doing? We're running a parallel analysis of the results from the public consultation exercise on Singapore's Long-Term Low Emissions Strategy. References: 1. Then the most common concerns are highlighted in a graphic. Feature: Upload your feedback too # People are sending in feedback to NCCS Scenario: We are collating parallel feedback for open analysis Given that citizens have already given feedback Then we can prepare an up-to-date source for people to view too Feature: Feedback Wall As a concerned citizen. I want to see what others have suggested. Because I want to refer to other responses for ideas. Feature: Idea leaderboard As a concerned citizen I want to be able to vote for good ideas to raise awareness to them ``` > Read more about Gherkin here: https://docs.cucumber.io/gherkin/reference/ User flows --- ```sequence NCSSFeedbackPage-->SubmissionPage: "Submit your NCCS response!" Note left of NCSSFeedbackPage: NCSS feedback Note right of SubmissionPage: Who we are Note right of SubmissionPage: Word Cloud Note right of SubmissionPage: Current Submissions (Upvoted?) Note right of SubmissionPage: Rating Function for Singapore ``` > Read more about sequence-diagrams here: http://bramp.github.io/js-sequence-diagrams/ Design Brief --- ![](https://i.imgur.com/CwFE3MN.png) Solution --- Considerations: 1. No server costs 2. Run it off github pages 3. Anyone can contribute 4. Should be easily replicable with minimal technical knowledge Collect the Feedback through a Form/ e-mail? We expect highly unstructured data Parse the NCCS feedback to generate the content for the Bubble Chart. Specific lines go into Google Sheets to generate off the page so it's searchable too. Voting/Rating Functions require some form of interaction/state. Can't be done off a static page. Needs a work around ###### tags: `Ideas` `Documentation`
