# Open StreetView imagery everywhere ###### tags: `open streetview` Over the course of this year, volunteers cycled together an alternative Open StreetView for almost all of Brussels. That means ALL the roads are there, not just the streets that allow cars. Anyone can help fill the gaps. Contrary to Google, it is open data. Google StreetView cannot be used to derive data. Our images can be re-used. Our free hosting provider even automatically uses AI to extract all sorts of interesting data that we can re-use for OpenStreetMap. We need help to fill the gaps, because our main volunteer is away helping Santa Claus.
