## Let's meet IRL
With covid numbers going down and the summer coming up, we'd like us to see each other again. We'd like to do -something- in the weekend of State of the Map, so July 10th or 11th. We'd meet outdoors, preferably with food and drinks, and make sure it's possible to watch some State of the Map as well. We don't have a location yet, but we'd aim for something near Brussels for average convenience. Right now, only 10 people would be allowed, but just register now by replying to this mail - and we'll see what we do if there's more people than allowed by that date.

## Funding
We discussed funding previously. The main source of income we envision would be Corporate Membership. We want to roll this out in the following month or so. The main point here is that SME's can get corporate membership for a 1000 euro yearly donation. Larger corporations would get the same benefits for 5000 euro. (see [previous board meeting minutes](https://github.com/osmbe/working-group-bylaws/blob/master/minutes/2020-09-23%20-%20board%20funding%20meeting.md#funding-landing-page))

## Dealing with paid work
We thought again about our previous idea to set up a sort of "Talent Pool". People who contact OpenStreetMap Belgium with an interest in paid work could ask the pool for help. We previously thought it would make sense to ask for 15% of the gross sum for using this service (10% for OSMbe and 5% for the umbrella OKBE). On revisit, we want to change this to "donations encouraged".
However, we do think it is useful to set up a system as well where OKBE/OSMBE can be an official go-between for some types of jobs. A typical case would be: "we want X to be mapped correctly in Belgium by date Y". Then we can say: we can try for free, or you can fund if you want a guarantee. In those cases, we would in fact ask for a surcharge to be able to fund the extra organizing work.

## Giving back to volunteers
We do have some ideas of things to fund, once we have a little more income. But we also notice that some volunteers do invest a lot of their time in OpenStreetMap Belgium. The "vrijwilligersvergoeding" system seems like a perfect match for getting the job done. Up to 34 euro per day and about a 1000 euro per year can be handed out with very little administrative overhead; This could be used to encourage participation in important meetings, or perhaps to help focus attention on stuff we want to get done first.
