# Filters

## Hemp filters

#### Curing

1. Boil the filter in 1'' of water
2. Add ½ teaspoon of baking soda
3. Add 1 teaspoon of coffee grounds to the pot
4. Let boil for 3 minutes
5. Rinse the filter until there is no slippery feel from the baking soda

# Clean

#### Pot and cup

1. Make a solution of half vinegar and baking soda and half water.
2. Let the cup/pot soak for ≥ 20 minutes.
3. Scrub (Steel wool works well).
4. Clean the cup's top lid separately.
a. Remove the silicone or rubber lid seal/gasket from the top to clean.
b. May need to soak longer.
