## Project Status

- IDR (Seb for Frances):
- Upcoming release in April
- includes long-standing compounds submission
- Looking at data transfer / access options: Globus

- NGFF
- Focus on nested storage: [proj#16](https://github.com/orgs/ome/projects/16) (0.2)
- Various spec issues likely could use comments. (0.3, etc.)
- Axis names
- If e.g HCS comes first (0.3) need to adjust version numbers
- Few new, high-level feature discussions: OME-XML, reference index (0.4?)
- How to store files, e.g. OME-XML from BioFormats
- Issues open for discussion ([zarr-specs](https://github.com/zarr-developers/zarr-specs/issues/112) and [OME-XML](https://github.com/ome/ngff/issues/27))
- fsspec JSON spec for how to map to zarr-like data in a file

- Releases
- gallery, omero-insight and BioFormats done
- Ansible roles supporting OMERO installation on Ubuntu 20.04
- Working on migrating docs to ReadThedocs.
- To be tested on the contributing documentation first
- Seb: integrated ansible work from Steven Ogg
- Adding Ubuntu. Good with CentOS' future.

- can offer similar arrangement than this year but cannot block training server for a longer period (a month)
- alternative: have an "outreach-3" dedicated to this type of events but we have limited resources. Available but not public currently.
