## Project Status

- IDR Frances:
- Dom demo'd import to NFDI data stewards on Friday and recorded this. They will give it a go
- idr0159 being imported to idr-next now.
- Hyper-spectral EM data (OME-TIFFs) also expect to be included: Giepmans
- Estimate release end of Feb.

- OMERO
- openmicroscopy.org issues. Post to image.sc if no improvement soon.
- Will: discussing figure with contributors, outlining future plans, etc. Notes at https://hackmd.io/YYS7EzcSTnC_joHSl5WsNg
- Seb: status of LUTs? Will: PR updated in progress https://github.com/ome/omero-web/pull/603

- Bio-Formats
- Next release next Tuesday. Time to iron out release workflow

- NGFF
- [RFC-4](https://ngff.openmicroscopy.org/rfc/4/index.html): another reviewer
- RFC-2 (0.5.2): ongoing discussions
- Perfection should not be enemy of the pretty damn good
- driving towards 0.6

- GerBI
- Dresden & Göttingen site visits. Talk on OME-Zarr but still lots of usage/need for OMERO.
- Issues: "history", data movement, tracking of conversions: Samba -> s3 -> OMERO data migration issues.

- Centos7 deprecation & cleanup PRs
- Support for new distros in progress

- First meeting update
- Interesting mix of multimodal data types. Transcriptomics, H&E, correlative EM etc.
- Next: setup slack connections.
- "Data stories" to capture use-cases, needs.
- Data to be hosted on EBI s3, mostly public if possible
- First goals for EMBL in April
- NFDI all hands meeting next week. Josh & Frances
- ELMI workshop, likely to run OMERO wrkshp
- Global BioImaging, Pune, OMERO installation.
- [iSEA](https://www.imagingsea.org/) will be discussing data management.
