## Project Status

(2-3 minutes each)

- IDR (Frances)
- Released NGFF upgrade work. No breakages or complaints.
- Dom currently importing idr0138 for the next release. (Also NGFF but not yet on S3 storage) Should take about 2 weeks.
- J-M: may also update the Bio-Formats dependencies.
- J-M: mentioned at the challenge meeting? Not yet. Might get the question of how to get a list.

- FW: some issues with studies, though. See Bio-Formats below.

- Bio-Formats
- David: synced Bio-Formats with the main branch. Have a small patch fix. (Non-memo-breaking)
- idr0008: can't fix with a Bio-Formats update. Mismatch between the metadata and what's present. Will add in blank planes.
- idr0001: converting to NGFF, but not for the next release.
- Can move forward now that artifactory is working.
- Melissa: focusing on reviews at the moment
- J-M: back on track for release.

- OMERO
- J-M: Seb/Chris pushing on a release of tables. To be rolled along with other omero-py etc. work.

- NGFF (Josh)
- IUPAB/RIKEN:
- web of data ("federation")
- interest in point clouds and AFM (where we were in LM before Bio-Formats)
- Challenge:
- still prototyping, hopefully in a place
- GUI choice outstanding: likely neuroglancer or vizarr (napari issues, no MoBIE effort)
- range-request issues when using GitHub: good we found it sooner rather than later

- GerBI (Josh)
- de.NBI hackathon proposal in on "increasing interoperability of bioimaging data in repositories" (Kassel in December)
- Josh: ongoing OMERO integration work. some concerns about the infrastructure for those.
- Erin: happy to discuss the use cases. Customers are coming and saying, "would like to use that" and need to manage expectations.

- Glencoe (Erin)
- +1 on omero-py releases
- late notes on the OME-Zarr in OMERO meeting. can setup a follow-on discussion in a week or so.
