### **Summary**
**Quality of Service (QoS) have 2 perspective:**
* For Networks called QoS = The service quality or service level that the network offers to applications or users in terms of network QoS parameters. The parameters are latency or delay of packets traveling across the network, reliability of packet transmission (i.e. packet lost rate), throughput.
* For Applications/Users called Quality of Experience (QoE) = The application quality as perceived by the user. Example like the presentation quality of the video, the responsiveness of interactive voice, the sound quality (CD-like or FM-radio like sound) of streaming audio.
**RIC Non-Real Time (>500ms)** = Service and policy management, RAN Analytics, Model-training for Near-RT RAN functionality.
**RIC Near-Real Time (<500ms)** = Radio Resource Management (RRM), QoS Management, Connectivity Management, Seamless Handover Control.
Near-Real Time RIC provide Radio Resource Management (RRM), Quality of Service (QoS) Management, Connectivity Management, Seamless Handover Control.
FCAPS is stand for Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, Security. The objective of communication security is the preservation of three principles:
* Confidentiality: the communication data are only disclosed to authorized subjects.
* Integrity: the data in the communication retain their veracity and are not able to be modified by unauthorized subjects.
* Availability: authorized subjects are granted timely access and sufficient bandwidth to access the data
Two Key Terms:
* Ciphering or encryption, protects your data from being disclosed to others, for confidentiality.
* Integrity protects your data from being modified.
### Comment
QoS and QoE are very important in the services provided to users. This eligibility standard will be an influence in the company to compete to provide the best service.
