# Scala Love conference. Instruction for track owners. Track owners set up and introduce speakers, manage the Q&A after each presentation and make sure sessions run on time. ## Before the conference 1. We will need your email associated with Zoom account you are going to use. And your hours of availability. Please fill this form. https://forms.gle/1usZMXtpyFPyDHHR9 2. Make sure you are a host of the webinar 3. Find the speakers bio [here](https://scala.love/category/scala-love-conference/speakers/) 4. You can discuss with the speaker how they want to be introduced 5. The schedule will be up soon, stay tuned! ## During the conference ### To set up a speaker make sure 1. All your speakers updated to the latest version of Zoom 2. A speaker promoted to the panelist in case it's not done automatically ![](https://i.imgur.com/YyBVJC3.png) 3. A speaker can share their screen 4. A speaker turn on their video and audio ![](https://i.imgur.com/oMkDxwn.png) 5. A speaker turn off their notifications (slack, messager, skype and whatnot) 6. All panelists and you turn off video and mute before the speaker's started ## To introduce a speaker 1. Feel free to improvise and cheer up the crowd!! <3 ## To manage the Q&A session 1. If have time, read the questons from the Q&A section, check slack channels for questions 2. When it's time to wrap up please share the link to another room where attendees can talk to a speaker (will be provided). Make sure the speaker goes there too. 3. Optionally.
