# Learning Styles Hackathon
This hackathon-style workshop aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and a deeper understanding of how diverse individuals learn and process information. Participants will explore various collaborative learning techniques in teams, drawing on current research and datasets from neurobiology and pedagogy, in order to demonstrate the enhancement of learning experiences. Data science techniques will be used to analyze and visualize learning preferences, enabling participants to gain insights into their own learning styles and those of their peers. Together we will address the importance of understanding and accommodating neurodiversity in learning environments, with a focus on different neurological conditions and their impact on learning.
The workshop will be an opportunity to delve into the latest research in the Science of Learning, including cognitive psychology, educational neuroscience, and learning analytics, with a particular focus on the integration of Machine Learning techniques.
## Describe the format of your session including objectives, outcomes and explain how the design of your session will ensure a dynamic and engaging experience for participants
Participants will collaborate on projects that apply data science to validate and further optimize predictive models of learning outcomes, with a focus on personalized and adaptive learning experiences. Mentors from academia and industry will be recruited to prepare guidance and mateirals for the workshop, drawing on expertise in neurophysiology, pedagogy, and ML.
By combining data science, learning styles, neurodiversity, and the Science of Learning, this mini-hackathon workshop aims to promote a deeper understanding of how individuals learn and process information, ultimately leading to more effective and inclusive learning environments.
## Define which audience(s) your session is targeting
## Define participant’s prerequisites (knowledge, equipment or other) to participate in your workshop
