# 11 Student and Tech for Better Project and Team Selection

This document outlines how the CF should support the cohort in selecting teams and projects for Student and Tech for Better projects.

## Week 5

- CF gives intro to student projects at SGC
- Cohort encouraged to start posting ideas
- CF begins reaching out to potential project & role mentors

## Week 7 (APIs)

- On Monday CF runs through submitted projects, cohort is encouraged to interacct with these ideas - react with emojis and leave supportive comments
- On Friday a survey is sent for each member of the cohort to confidentially name the three teams they found most conducive to their learning
- CF confirms with project and role mentors

## Week 8 - Reading Week

- CF makes teams for SP & TFB

## Week 9 (SPAs)

- announce teams
- encourage discussions on projects
- CF to create SP & TfB Slack channels
- Introduce project mentors

## Week 10 (React)

- CF shares documentation on how to select a project as a team & what makes a good project (scope, tech, ...)
- Teams choose their projects Tuesday 16:30 - 17:00 and express preference to CF
- Teams co-ordinate user research for Wk 11 Monday 16:00 - 18:00
- One hour of TFB recap on Wednesday 17:00 - 18:00
- After the recap, each TFB teams shortlists 3 TFB projects from "top eight" longlist
- TfB Facilitator reached out to PO's to check availability and arranges 4 successful projects

## Week 11 (SP Design Week)

- Introduce roles and role mentors
- TFBF arranges Discovery Workshop with POs
