--- tags: CF --- # 1 - Calendars Past course facilitators have found that Google Calendar is useful for: * Timeboxing your own tasks and to-dos * Scheduling meetings + inviting people to the calendar event * Checking the availability of Space4 meeting rooms * Organising different parts of the course * Communicating with the cohort ## Your calendar Maintaing your google calendar helps you to stay on top of tracks and for other FAC staff to schedule time with you. Do your best to keep it up to date with your scheduled meetings. ## Course calendar Some cohorts pay close attention to the schedule on GitBook - some pay close attention to the google calendar. Keeping a course calendar up to date with weekly activities including speakers will keep the cohort and fac-team in the loop. ## Space4 calendar Polly and Maddie maintain the Space4 Bookings and Events calendar and as CF you should have access to it. Ask Polly to add you to this calendar if you do not have access. This is the place to book meeting rooms and the classroom outside of our normal hours. When you book a meeting room, in the title put the room number first (e.g. MR1) with your name and (FAC). From time to time, the classroom may be booked for events after 6pm or during classtime. It is your responsibility to stay on top of this schedule and manage any conflicts. ## Other FAC Staff's calendars You should subscribe to all members of the fac-team's calendars. You can do so on the left hand side of Google Calendar by clicking the plus symbol next to 'other calendars' and typing in an email - e.g. yvonne@foundersandcoders.com
