Vision * The Ambassador Program should outlast ambassadors * It should provide a wide array of tools and activities: * Tooling for outreach * Guidlines, e.g. for Events, Conferences, ..etc. * Prodvide tutorials, education, mentorship * Dedicated townhalls for new Ambassadors onboarding ### 2. Objectives * The objective of the Ambassador Program is to grow the Ocean Protocol ecosystem. * It does so by attracting and onboarding new people and organizations into Ocean Protocol. DAO voting should be guided by Project Purpose ### 3. End-Product * It should be non-coin voting for governance * We may use existing material/insights in the space: * [Thought leadership by Vitalik B](https://vitalik.ca/general/2021/08/16/voting3.html) * [1Hive gardens](https://about.gardens.1hive.org/) (DAO infra with 1-click deployment) * [DAOHaus](https://daohaus.club/) (DAO infra) * [Aragon](https://aragon.org/) (DAO infra) * [Coordinape](https://coordinape.com): we should pilot its use, as a reputation/experience system. If it's free (or at least not prohibitively expensive) * Using Polygon and snapshot as a way to reduce gas to a minimum * We should spend time on experimentation, but still get tangible value for the group ### 4. Process/ Planning * We should not re-invent the wheel, but use what is available and adapt to our needs * The program should be light, and designed with flexibility in mind as it will likely be improved over time * We've agreed to the following to stir the creation of our DAO: * Hold Bi-weekly WG sessions to set-up the DAO (LRT to organize) * Set-up WB on Discord (DrPRK to organize) * Set-up Coordinape (Robin and Noelle to organize)
