# Ambassador - OPF - OceanDAO Coordination Meeting - 23Nov21

Hi everyone, the discussion with Monica, Alex, Bruce and Sheridan yesterday was super useful. Main points:

1) We need to work much more closely together; this is a joint feeling between Ambassadors, OPF and OceanDAO.

- The conversation should be 3-way, not "top-down". We will coordinate, share feedback, assess what works and what doesn't.
- Alex can provide ideas and support in our tooling efforts. He's also keen to make communication choices and calls, at the top of the funnel, but would let us handle content/mediums (e.g. chat, evergreen material, punctual amplification)
- We will need to streamline the recruitment and promotion of the Ocean Ambassador program

2) We will establish new channels to be in constant contact:
1. We will invite key members of OPF and OceanDAO to this group
2. We will hold a monthly coordination meeting, starting early Jan '22

3) In terms of planning, there are 2 things that stand-out, and that will require short/mid-term focus:
1. Big launch from OPF in Q1 22 (V4), which will require promotion/amplification
2. Ambassador recruitment campaign in partnership OPF/Ambassadors.

Point 2. requires quite a bit of infrastructure. i.e. a new onboarding process, some "train the trainer" material, and some dedication from existing ambassadors to welcome the new ones. Monica can share some resources that she is using internally with us so we don't reinvent the wheel.

4) Monica suggested that we ask for funding in the OceanDAO to cover 3) and she can help us make it compelling for the community to vote on. This makes a lot of sense. Who is with me to prepare the proposal?
