The OCaml.org infrastructure came about as a result of a community effort to pull together a new modern site design for OCaml in 2011. TODO fill in.
## v1 (2011-2013)
This was the original ocaml.org site. TODO history
## v2 (2013-2021)
When the opam package manager was launched, more capabilities were added. In addition to the website, there were:
- opam.ocaml.org to handle package archives and manuals for the new package manager
- (2012-2018) forge.ocaml.org for source code hosting.
- (2014-) lists.ocaml.org for email lists for the community
- (2017-) inbox.ocaml.org as an archive of the caml mailing list with a more accessible interface.
- (2016-) Docker container images pushed to ocaml/opam on the Docker Hub
- (2019-) discuss.ocaml.org as a web-based forum.
## v3 (2021-)
