## Hello there
Welcome to NTURT electrical system group course. The course is designed for you to join us, the electrical system group. For the course of the following month, we hope you would finish the course and the homeworks/topics as a starter before joining us.
## Course outline
The course is separated into three parts, `common`, `Firmware and Hardware` and `software`.
### Common course
The `common` course is for everyone who wants to join the electrical system to get somewhere to start and have some ideas of what we're doing. It also covers some basic tools that we use when developing.
### Speciality course
The other two parts of the course, `Firmware and Hardware` and `software` are categorized by the two divisions of this group. And the speciality courses are here for you to choose from and help you find a division that you're interested in. Also, before joining any particular division, we hope you have learned the basics of the group from the speciality course.
There are also advanced course labeled `advanced` in some of the speciality courses, they cover advanced topics for development and you are free to skip them.
## Homeworks and Topics
There is `homework` section in common courses and `topic` section in speciality courses that account for 50% of the total score in the entering evaluation. Please finish all homeworks in common course and all topics in at least one speciality course to get the full 50% score. Find out more in [Homework](/KrdOAc96TFKR4oK9iSOJLA).
:::info
The other 50% score of the entering evaluation is based on an interview in the future, stay tuned to find out more information about interview or entering evaluation in general in our [Facebook page](https://www.facebook.com/NTURacing/).
