# [NIP-25] Ongoing development

## Background
- NSFW is an unincorporated DAO.
- The 8640p team's strategy has kept the DAO operational under challenging market conditions.
- Efforts to coordinate with elected DAO members have faced hurdles due to varying commitments and expertise levels.
- This proposal outlines a plan to hire and manage a development team, compensated with NSFW+ tokens, ensuring accountability in line with [NIP-24](https://snapshot.org/#/nsfwgov.eth/proposal/0x1ab8d19f1dd9bb6a6bb7e2f3eb3518f51775e0f8f1d6a3bcb288a9d52aa3867c).

## Motivation
- Developers are eager to continue working and developing new features.
- The team is open to compensation in tokens.
- We need to continue to add features to the product to stay competitive

## Schedule
- The terms are valid for 6 months, subject to updates or changes as per [NIP-24](https://snapshot.org/#/nsfwgov.eth/proposal/0x1ab8d19f1dd9bb6a6bb7e2f3eb3518f51775e0f8f1d6a3bcb288a9d52aa3867c).

## Compensation
- Work items will be finalized and priced in consultation with DAO delegates and contributors, following the guidelines of [NIP-24](https://snapshot.org/#/nsfwgov.eth/proposal/0x1ab8d19f1dd9bb6a6bb7e2f3eb3518f51775e0f8f1d6a3bcb288a9d52aa3867c).
- Compensation will be vested over the delivery period.
- New tasks will only commence after the completion and approval of preceding tasks, in accordance with [NIP-24](https://snapshot.org/#/nsfwgov.eth/proposal/0x1ab8d19f1dd9bb6a6bb7e2f3eb3518f51775e0f8f1d6a3bcb288a9d52aa3867c).

## Communication
- The team will host two Town Halls for the DAO per epoch of work:
1. To discuss and agree upon work items.
2. To demonstrate implementations (when applicable).
- The team is not responsible for producing marketing materials releated to new features, as this falls outside the agreement's scope.
