Dear , We are writing as [Nordic-RSE](https://nordic-rse.org/), a non-profit organisation to bring together and support research software engineers in the nordics. Since August 2021 we have been organising [Nordic-RSE Seminar Series](https://nordic-rse.org/events/seminar-series/), an event hosting talks or workshops about themes relevants to RSEs. **We would like to invite you (or someone from the JOSS team) as a speaker to the Nordic-RSE seminar series**. The talk could be a general overview of publishing software and software papers, focusing on their importance, impact, and current challenges in the academic world. These topics are highly relevant and interesting to Nordic-RSE and our seminar audience. The talk will be via zoom and (with speaker permission) recorded and put on the Nordic-RSE [youtube channel](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLftRaVXG5xM4zRcUKZUAPOiBqhSlZ91kl). The speaker will be able to freely choose the date, time and duration of your talk (preferably taking into account that the audience is in a European time zone).
