When he tried to adjust the volume in settings it kept going down to 0 again. He didn't have issues on the main instance with Jitsi, though. We had to switch to firefox and I hold him he would have to use it on the day of. This speaker also has some feedback from me speaking. We should avoid us speaking at the same time because of this. His audio setup was a laptop microphone and headphones. Usually the headphones will have cancellation and it won't have any feedback. He checked in pulseaudio and his output was the headphones and his input was the microphone. We confirmed that it was an issue with the nixcon instance by creating a room in the main instance and then testing audio from chromium.
