# Kronos CTF
## Greetings
Blocsoc is here with Kronos CTF, a high-intensity 3-hour Capture The Flag competition focused on **Blockchain, Cryptography, and Zero Knowledge**.

Teams compete across three challenges under a dynamic scoring system where early solves earn higher points. Speed, precision, and clarity of reasoning determine the leaderboard.

## Rulebook
### Prize Distribution
1. Points Comparison.
2. If same points, then based on who got that many points first.
3. Solution PDF must be submitted upon request.
4. Points > Order > Solution PDF
5. All 3 taken into consideration.
6. Winners -> 3 by default. May change if needed to share position.
7. 25, 15, 10 for 3. Variable if more.

### Problem Structure

- Total Problems: **3**
  1. Blockchain
  2. Cryptography
  3. Zero Knowledge
- All problems unlock simultaneously.
- Problems are independent.
- Teams may solve them in **any order**.

### Scoring Formula
- Points will never drop.
- Earlier solves will be priortised.
- The scoreboard updates in real time.
- The scoreboard freezes at the end of the contest.


### Flag Submission Process

1. Solve the challenge.
2. Extract the correct flag.
3. Submit the flag via the **official submission portal**.
4. Flag format is question specific.
5. If correct, points are awarded immediately based on the current value.

### Submission Rules
- Flags are case-sensitive
- Exact match required
- Final submission must be made through the official submission portal
- Multiple incorrect attempts may incur a penalty (if enabled)

### Post-CTF Submission Requirement upon Request

**Deadline: March 2, 12:00 Noon**

Each team must submit:

- A PDF write-up explaining their approach
- Code/scripts used
- Proof of solution derivation

Failure to submit by the deadline will result in reduction of points, even if the team ranks on the live scoreboard.

### Tie-Breaker Policy

If two or more teams have equal scores:

1. Earliest last correct submission
2. Higher difficulty problem solved
3. Manual review of solution quality

### Penalty Conditions

- Plagiarism in write-up
- Submission after the deadline
- Violation of integrity rules
- Tampering with competition infrastructure

### Disqualification Conditions

- Contacting external experts
- Collaboration between teams
- Sharing flags or hints

Violation of any rule will result in immediate disqualification.


### Integrity & Fair Play

- Teams must solve problems independently
- Exploiting unintended vulnerabilities in the platform is prohibited
- Organizers’ decisions are final and binding
