# Current tasks of outreach

## 1. Hackathons (responsible: Chris)
- This will stay for practical reasons in Chris' hands BUT
- would be great to get help for:
- updates to websites
- think about and update socials (scavanger hunt, quiz, etc)
- send tweets (+other platforms) before and during the event
- find and establish volunteer group leaders
- Gathertown
- and more...

## 2. Training courses, practical (responsible: Chris)
- the training could be performed by someone else
- volunteers to help with questions

## 3. nf-core training course, documentation (responsible: Fran/Chris)
- we are currently working on a new nf-core focused beginner training
- this is a collaboration between Seqera personnel and nf-core
- the aim is to host it on the website and to have strict release policies

## 4. Bytesize (responsible: Fran)
- Would appreciate help with transcripts
- Help with identifying topics and recruiting speakers
- Would ask for someone as a "first choice" stand-in
- Fran offers to write a document with all required information

## 5. Mentorship and (Nextflow) Ambassador program (responsible: Marcel)

## 6. Generation of outreach material (no responsible currently)
- suite of talks of different length with different focus
- collection of posters to ~~steal~~ get inspired from
