# HackMD

HackMD is a website that allows visual markdown editing, preview and sync with GitHub. Making edits on HackMD does not live update the Travel guide, but the content pushed from here will be changed on a the [hackmd branch](https://github.com/nextgentravel/travel-guidebook-client/tree/hackmd) in the **travel-guide-client** repository.

This means content can be managed/authored on this pages by the team and then merged into release branches via a [pull request on GitHub](https://github.com/nextgentravel/travel-guidebook-client/tree/hackmd). It is also possible to create an automatic build of this branch for content preview.

Each link below will give you access to a markdown file for each section/language. Edits can be made to these files and they will then get pushed to GitHub.

These files are publically readable but only writable to anyone within the NextGen team. This means users and contributors can make comments google docs style, so it's also a great, open place to discuss and resolve content changes.
