# Gamestate User Manual#

This User Manual is intended to provide information on how to operate in Gamestate, an in-depth guide that will help users with the following:

**Guide:** Orientate themselves around the Gamestate world, detailed guidance on how to walk around the Gamestate Map

**Controls:** Learn how to work with the controls, collect rare items, and interact with the digital objects in the Gamestate Metaverse

**Roles & Responsibilities:** Each user will have his own goals, objectives and missions to follow. This document will help introduce the different Avatar characters, as well as their features and capabilities.

The above content will be shared in the form of text, images, videos, and personal recordings or streams.

# 1. Set up your Metamask wallet

MetaMask is a cryptocurrency wallet that enables you to access the Web 3 ecosystem of decentralized applications (dapps).

Everything you do in the crypto will ask you to login to your Metamask wallet, to check if you have the proper token access for web pages or applications.

**Step 1: Download Metamask and Add to Google Chrome web browser**

* Open url: (https://metamask.io/download/)


* Click on Google Chrome icon


* Click on "Add to Chrome" to add a quick extension on your Chrome Browser


* Click on "Add Extension"


* System will be installing the extension (wait a moment)


* Setup is successful if you see an image of a Fox rotating his head wherever you move your mouse

**Step 2: Create your Digital Wallet with Metamask**

* Click on the "Get Started" button


* Click on "Create your wallet" to set up your digital wallet (aka. digital bank account)


* "Agree" or not on to the request of improving metamask (not mandatory to agree on this)


* Type a password in the blank space


* Tick yes when you agree on the "Terms of Use"


* Click create when done with the above steps


* Now the most important aspect of your digital wallet: Secret Words/Phrase

**Please write down these words in respective order in several locations! It's very important you do not lose this, otherwise you will lose your digital wallet and all the money you would have inside of it **

**Do not share with anyone the secret words**


* Click on the secret section to reveal the secret words, make sure to write them down somewhere


* Click "Next" when done


* Here you are asked to pull each secret word in the correct sequence, to verify your account


* Once you have entered them correctly, go ahead and click "Confirm"


* Congratulations! You have now created your Metamask Wallet! (Please make sure to follow carefully the instructions on the screen)

**This metamask wallet will be your tool to access and store all your digital collectibles, valuables and money**

**Make sure to keep it safe and secure, do not share the security phrase and password with anyone!**

**This digital wallet is your responsibility, make sure to be careful with its usage**


* You are now all set up, on the top right corner of your web browser, click on the extension of Metamask, represented by a fox icon, and your digital wallet will appear

# 2. Connect your Metamask Wallet to the Polygon Blockchain Network

* Click on the top right corner of your Google Chrome web browser, and select the Metamask icon


* On the window that popped up, Click on the network called "Ethereum Mainnet"

The list you see here are the blockchain networks to which project belong to and are build upon.

=> What we want to do next is to add "Matic" network, as Gamestate is built on it


* Scroll down and click on "Custom RPC"


* In the pop up window, we need to add Matic network information


* Add the following details in the respective section of the pop up window

Details:

Network Name: Matic Mainnet

New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.matic.network

Chain ID: 137

Symbol: MATIC

Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.matic.network/


* Click on "Save" when done entering the data


* Congratulations, Matic Mainnet should have been added to the list of Networks.

Click on the Metamask icon on the top left corner to return back to the Main page. You should see that you are now connected to the Matic Mainnet

# 3. Charge your wallet with the tokens necessary to enter Gamestate

**Step 1: Buying and Minting a special NFT for special access**

**Step 2: Buying a minimum of 1,000 STATE Token and storing them in your Metamask**

# 4. How to enter Gamestate

* Type in Gamestate's Megaverse URL to access the virtual world

* Create an avatar if you do have any in Ready Player Me, or pick an avatar that you have previously selected

Create your own Ready Player Me avatar through this link:

=> Create a profile and an avatar that will be your image in the virtual world


* Select the Custom Avatar section to proceed


* Choose the body type of your avatar in the section below


* Choose to take a picture of yourself, upload a picture, or continue without a picture


* Pick an avatar from the list that you would like to represent you in the virtual world


* When done with Ready Player Me, go back to Gamestate Megaverse (https://megaverse.gamestate.one/), and Pick your avatar's name and type it in the section below


* The page will load for a few seconds after you picked your avatar lookalike


* Create your avatar in Ready Player Me, and connect your Metamask wallet to it


* Enter the gamestate virtual world after creating and selecting your avatar


* Once you enter, you are show the different controls for you and your avatar


* Head to the ticket office to grab your NFTs and/or State Tokens necessary for entering the Gamestate Stadium


* The NPC ticket agent will give you the requirement to enter the stadium for you to attend your event


* Entrance is restricted by an invisible barrier that will check your metamask wallet content for NFT or 1,000 STATE Tokens


* Click "Connect" and then the security system will check your wallet


* Add your password in Metamask. When done, click "Unlock"
(This is in case your Metamask wallet was not previously connected)


* Click on "Switch Network", Metamask will connect to right network, and be looking at your balance
(This is in case your Metamask wallet was not on the right network)


* You have entered the metaverse, welcome!
