**About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced **Founding Infrastructure Engineer**. This is an early opportunity to join our [world-class research and engineering](https://www.nebra.one/about) team to make impact in the blockchain industry. You will work with our research and cryptographic engineering team to develop the backend infrastructure of Nebra. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, building a distributed prover network, enhancing CI/CD processes, and establishing observability and security monitoring systems.

**In this role, you will:**
- Lead the design and implementation of internal infrastructure for NEBRA.
- Contribute to the design of iterative system improvements, providing insight into deployment and performance analysis.
- Implement tooling for status monitoring, gathering a range of metrics on and off-chain.
- Work with the engineering team to deliver regular releases of high-quality software.

- Acute awareness of security best practices and system stability measures.
- Proficient in articulating complex technical ideas and solutions.

- Deep technical expertise in Operating Systems, Databases, and Networking Protocols.
- Experienced with container orchestration solutions, particularly Kubernetes, for managing and scaling complex, heterogeneous environments.
- Practical knowledge and professional experience with blockchain infrastructure and applications.
- Proficient in at least one system-level programming language (C, C++, Rust, Java) and capable with BASH and at least one higher-level scripting language (Python, TypeScript).
- A strong desire for continuous learning and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions consistently.

- Proven experience as a core contributor to high-quality open-source projects.
- Proficiency with Ethereum toolchains, such as Hardhat or Foundry.
- Adaptability and effectiveness in rapidly growing environments.
- Strong track record of designing and building reliable systems.
