Please share a few words about your approach to teaching:
*I've taught at different educational levels (from secondary school, at the beginning of my career, up to masters level) and to both mono-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary audiences. My basic approach is to connect with the audience: create a perception layer that allow me to understand how much of the subject is being digested, how expectations evolve, etc. I adapt the approach to what I "sense", trying to capture the audience as much as possible. Hands on is also an important aspect: the story must be complemented with its application to problem solving.*

*Relationships - all teaching takes place within the context of a relationship and cannot happen until a genuine human connection is made. The teacher must understand the student and the student must trust the teacher.*
*Structure - The student at all times needs to know what they are supposed to be doing, and what will come next. Learning objectives must be clear. All learning materials must be made accessible to the student.*
*Adaptability - The teacher must be able to communicate ideas in a variety of ways and be ready to develop new explanations when the student needs it. The best teaching is multi-modal, where content is presented through as many media (visual, auditory, tactile) as possible. The teacher must make connections and analogies to other ideas relevant to the student.*
