# Linking Google Tag Manager with Analytics and Optimize

# Analytics + Google Tag Manager
1. Open Google Tag Manager By [clicking here](https://tagmanager.google.com/?authuser=1#/container/accounts/4241475677/containers/10078783/workspaces/192/variables). Make sure you are logged in with your Sam Media email address.
2. Inside tag manager make sure your selected account is ouisys.com and click on variables 
3. You are only going to be working with the items highlighted in **green**
4. Lets start by clicking **Google Analytics Tracking ID Lookup**
5. On the next screen you can see that **KW** does not exist so we will click on **Look Up Table** to add it 
6. On the next screen click add row 
7. Enter the country code and the analytics **tracking ID** and click save.
# Optimize + Google Tag Manager
1. Copy your container ID from **Google Optimize** 
2. Go back to Google Tag Manager and click **Google Analytics Tracking ID Lookup** under **variables** 
3. If you do not see your analytics **tracking ID** and your **optimize container ID** mapped to each other, go ahead and click on **Look up table**
4. 
5. Click on **Add row** 
6. Enter the **Analytics tracking ID** and the **Optimize Container ID** and click **Save** 
7. Click **Submit** to commit your changes 
8. Describe what you did and publish
