The competition–performance relation: A meta-analytic review and test of the opposing processes model of competition and performance. *Psychological Bulletin, 138*(6), 1035-1070. ::: ## 一、主要論點 1. trait competitiveness(特質競爭力):在成就型的環境中傾向於和他人競爭。 2. perceived environmental competitiveness(知覺環境競爭力):在成就型環境中,個人對於競爭天性的認知傾向 3. structural competition(結構性競爭):實際的情境中,二人以上競爭一個排他性(mutually exclusive)的成就型結果。  本文主要在設計一種路徑模式,使得趨向表現與趨避表現二種型態互相抵銷,所以導致整體效果不顯著。而分開來看的話,趨向表現(喜歡贏別人)的會對表現有正向效果。趨避表現則對於表現是負向效果(不過競爭環境對於二種目標設定都是正面效果⋯⋯)。
