# LMD Provider Questions ![](https://i.imgur.com/g9HZo0R.png) ### Our Business Scenario: **What we have:** - we have multiple hubs, and we have a Main hub. - We have merchants(Requesters) - And these merchants have thier clients all over the countries in Egypt (Clients) - We Act as a courrier in the middle between the Merchant and thier Clients. **The Business Process** - Shipments are picked up from the merchant and **must** arrive first at our main hub - Once shipments arrive at our hub, it gets routed to either other hubs or the clients themselves. - We also support returning and exchanging requests. ---------------- ### Our Questions: #### General Questions - How can we best utilize the platform to our needs, how many tasks (and what are each one's type) are needed for each case of the following **while minimizing costs**? - First Scenario: - Pickup from Merchant > Dropoff at Main Hub - Pickip from Main Hub > Dropoff at Client - Second Scenario - Pickup from Merchant > Dropoff at Main Hub - Pickup from Main Hub > Dropoff at Secondary Hub - Pickup from Secondary Hub > Dropoff at Client - Third Scenario (Return / Exchange) - Pickup from Merchant > Dropoff at Main Hub - Pickup from Main Hub > Dropoff at Client **THEN** Pickup from Client (the returned shipment) - Dropoff at Main Hub - Pickup at Main Hub > Dropoff at Merchant ##### - How many tasks should be created in order to fullfill each of the above scenarios, and how would the task be created? How many pickups / dropoffs? - How would this be done through the API? - If the task contains 5 pickups and 1 delivery, is it considerd as one task in Route optimization or 6 tasks? (0.12 per task) - How does grouping multiple stops into a single task affect route optimization? - What are the differences between Pickup and Delivery tasks? #### UI Questions - Create a new task is for a whole shipment (From pickup to delivery) or Pickups and delivery not related to each other - How Agent wallet works - Parcel can be edited after creation? and why i can't edit it however i can edit the consigment? #### Api Questions - Creating Multiple tasks at once, how is the cost calculated? - How to create multi pickup single delivery (or multi delivery single pickup) through API? - How to create a parcel from the API? - How to Optimize route through the API?
