# Sponsor and add Carlos Salinas (professional skier) to Gnars Athlete Community.

## :beginner: Presentation


Carlos Salinas is a young athlete pursuing a career to become a professional skier. He has been accepted by the Andorran ski federation and is going through his first FIS year (International Ski Federation).

He travels the world following the winter.

Carlos has a lot of potential and he is working towards getting selected for the Winter Olympics within the next two cycles (2026 and/or 2030).

## :triangular_flag_on_post: Mission

Carlos is 16yrs old but has been skiing since he was 5....has gone through all the steps to get to this point where he is now PRO junior.
Next 3 years of training are foundation for the next step which is going full PRO (european and world cup circuits and Olympic games)
The opportunity is to document this process in a Gnarnly way..... imagine this project being able to be the companion of an Olympic athlete!!!

## :pencil: Funding Request

Carlos would like to get **3 ETH** funding from Gnars to fund professional quality content for a YouTube channel documenting his life and growth as a professional athlete during this season and to explain how technology and this type of initiatives can really change the way of everything.

Funding will be also used to get a nice helmet artwork done and create nice merch to share around.

Carlos is in it for the long run, so the idea is to set the pillars for a long term relationship and to be able to renew the sponsorship each season to continue with the work.

1. Submit proposal
2. Hire video crew and content editor
3. Start shooting and producing content
4. Design and produce stickers and a few ski flags to display during training and competitions.
