* what worked well
* we made progress
* error handling. This applies mainly to backend but we tied up most of our server endpts with case-specific http codes related to errors. Now, our frontend api calls can display the specific server error
* warnings for users when deleting
* fixing bugs that sometimes prevented pages from loading
* users can now rate how confident they feel about term/definitions
* status bar for learning flashcards
* got search bar with dropdown working with folders
*
* live collaboration progress
* sped things up w 1 person
* made a lot of progress towards fixing bugs when 2 people edit at the same time
* what didn't
* all getting very busy with the end of the term approaching, hard to find big blocks of time to meet all together (ex, for retro (hence why we're doing it on wednesday))
* live collaboration
* testing this was pretty tough -- so we ended up writing a bunch of code without structured testing initially (aside from having two people type at the same time in the same doc.). Have since started writing testing scripts to check efficacy of the code and will have collaboration ready by technigala!
* self assessment on progress
* where are you in relation to progress towards product and milestones?
* give an estimate of how far towards your goals you are, do you think you're on track?
* We believe we are in a good place to have what we wanted to create done by the end of the term. About half of our team has been chugging along fixing bugs and adding in smaller features that we think really bring our product together. The other half is focusing on the bigger piece of adding collaboration to our platform which was a stretch goal but we think adds a lot of value for our users.
* Our biggest pain point right now is getting live collaboration to work well on our deployed server. It works great locally but is buggy on the deployment so we're currently working on a more efficient document merging algorithm to hopefully smooth this out with our deployment
* lay out *each* of the following weeks till end of term with brief goals for each
* current week: Work on Medium article, work out collaboration kinks, search bar styling, collaboration front-end UI
* week #10: publish!!
* briefly summarize any other topics/discussions![]
