# CodePath.org Virtual Events Calendar

## Volunteers Needed

CodePath.org hosts virtual events every month to expose students to new topics in the tech industry. Volunteers can give their time by serving as a panelist in a virtual panel or hosting a technical workshop. Details about each event are below.

**How to sign up** - Click the link for the virtual event of your choosing and fill out the RSVP form. A CodePath representative will reach out to onboard you for the event.

**Time/Date** - All virtual events are hosted from 10am - 11am Pacific Standard Time.

**Location** - All virtual events are hosted on Zoom, a web conferencing platform.

SERVE AS A TECH PANELIST

Virtual panels introduce students to tech professionals from a variety of backgrounds and enable them to ask questions about industry-specific topics. Volunteer panelists participate in 60-minute virtual panels curated by the CodePath Career Center. Previous topics include “Working in Startups vs. Corporate” and “Making the Most of a First Tech Internship.” *1 Hour Commitment*

CREATE A TECHNICAL WORKSHOP

Workshops set students up to be confident and prepared once in a technical role by exposing them to technical concepts and keeping them informed of the latest developments in the industry. Workshop leaders volunteer their time by creating a 60 minute workshop on the technical topic of their choice and virtually presenting the workshop to CodePath students. *5 to 10 hour commitment*
