Inspired by the breakthrough achieved in protein structure prediction, a few groups are trying to develop AI-based methods for RNA 3D structure prediction. Based on our previous work on protein structure prediction, trRosetta, we developed trRosettaRNA for automated prediction of RNA 3D structure with transformer network. trRosettaRNA has been tested blindly in the CASP15 and the RNA-Puzzles experiments. The tests show that the automated predictions are competitive with the top human predictions on natural RNAs, though it remains challenging to predict accurate structures for synthetic RNAs. The web server, source codes and all datasets are freely available at: https://yanglab.qd.sdu.edu.cn/trRosettaRNA/.
