- speaker honoraria: not possible at the moment
- student organiser honoraria: supportive but the process is still to be decided with People & Finance teams

## Questions / Points of discussion
- did you liaise with TREx? (aware TPS are involved)
- please note [AV in Enigma guidance](https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmathison.turing.ac.uk%2FInteract%2FPages%2FContent%2FDocument.aspx%3Fid%3D2421%26SearchId%3D182996%26utm_source%3Dinteract%26utm_medium%3Dquick_search%26utm_term%3Dav%2Benigm&data=05%7C01%7Cmnemes%40turing.ac.uk%7C76e5592026ef48cdb10e08dafee1420f%7C4395f4a7e4554f958a9f1fbaef6384f9%7C0%7C0%7C638102540669554696%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=OW9YpSQqT4itQfiIQS8G43Rw38ugrxHTuBOaylYPf4A%3D&reserved=0), and you can book a slot to test
- events Team support is a likely no as the team is wholly focused on AIUK and even without that they wouldn’t be inclined to immediately support this. Enigma space is intended for community members/self-organised events
- recommend not to start the day at 10:00 in case delays at British Library doors. Push back by 15 mins or so and this also is appreciated by those travelling for in-person (from experience)
## Feedback session 27th April 2023
**Agenda**
- payments
- happy with the amounts but not received it yet
- new guidance
- Mishka to send
- feedback from participants
- organisers
- debrief from organisers
- :heavy_minus_sign:
- no confirmation from the submission; should enable email confirmation
- too many things required
- no clear guidance on paying speakers
- not sure who should help with the organisers; make it clear how many hours of support the students get
- recommendation that 3 people would be better suited for such events; suggest in the guidance that people should really consider how long it takes
- frustration around the support and guidance received
- consider times during the year when we cannot support GTF events eg peak months like March
- :heavy_plus_sign:
- participants were grateful that there was a mix of internal and external Turing people
- hybrid worked really well: broke the event off
- personal satisfaction
- support from TPS and volunteers both online and in person
- catering was really good
- what were the outputs
- connection and networking
- github repo with resources
- book dash chapter on how the event was run, focus on Data Hazards and how it was applied to one-day symposium. Use the event as a case study, considering accessibility requirements
