### Hippo

__Hippo is a complete Machine Learning platform, a flexible framework of tools and libraries, which helps build clear, robust and reproducible data science projects.__

It was born as an internal Python package to support our data scientists in their daily work, able to guide development while maintaining good freedom, nevertheless with the aim of producing robust and reproducible experiments. After a few years of beta testing, we are now ready to share our experience with Hippo, to do this we have identified the following steps.

#### Short term
* Strengthen the installation phase and the API with all the best practices in order to expand its diffusion and integration with the main infrastructures.
* speed up computing for big data, with the adoption of a cluster based on open source technology
* equipe the documentation of tutorial and recpies to guide new users and to promote the use of hippo

#### Mid Term
* separate and expand the main component library in order to promote its usage in other orchestrators too.
* promote its use in the most popular media like linkedin or medium
