## 1. Overview

According to the survey, approximately 50% of English-speaking respondents said that manga, anime, or Japanese games were the main reasons why they started learning Japanese or became interested in Japan.

The recent popularity of Vtubers has led to an increasing number of English-speaking people becoming fans of Japanese Vtubers.

However, there are many slang terms peculiar to Japanese subcultures such as anime and Vtubers, and this is undoubtedly a major barrier for Japanese language learners who like Japanese subcultures.

There are Competitors' websites but they have only a search function or are not properly categorized, not focusing for Japanese subculture.

From this kind of circumstance, I would like to make this site a site where Japanese slang can be simply look up and studied for the purpose of each learner of Japanese.

To provide a website where English speakers can easily to look up and understand Japanese slang.
