# Experience Sharing on BMW Lab

Hi, let me introduce myself: my name is Muhamad Fahriza Novriansyah from the University of Indonesia, department of electrical engineering, and majoring in computer engineering batch 2017. This summer, I am a participant in the Taiwan Education Experience Program (TEEP) 2020 at the National Taiwan University of Science & Technology, in the Broadband Multimedia Wireless laboratory for two months (July - August). I’m very grateful to Professor Ray-Guang Cheng as the supervisor in this program for giving me this opportunity to learn and develop even better.

My topic in this internship is a Smart Health Passport mentored by Mick. Smart Health Passport is a system for calculating how much water a student drank, recommended different water volumes to students, and find the dispenser location based on student needs. This system is for elementary or junior high schools in Taiwan. I am focused on building Progressive Web Apps(PWA) and the Databases.

For the part I'm working on, which is PWA, I use Ionic Framework and Angular JS to build applications. And For the Database Part, I use MySQL to create a database. For communication between applications and hardware, we use APIs.

In this intern, we use Trello to manage the task, make a daily report on HackMD, and present the report every week in the weekly meeting. For this experience, I think it is a great experience.

I learned many things from this intern, such as Work Experience, PWA, Teamwork, And Most of All, I learned to improve myself. I would say thank you for Mick, Chiawei, Derni, and other members of the IoT Team that helping me during this internship.

Overall, I am delighted to be given this internship opportunity. Once again, I would like to thank everyone who has supported me in this internship.
