# mevETH Relay Config - Confidential Documentation

This short documentation is aimed at validators that want to test our futures market on Holesky.

The relay is permissioned and currently protected by Basic Auth. We currently use a shared token for the testing phase.

### Relay URL:

## [](#)Example: Nginx configuration on Ubuntu

If your validator doesn’t support connecting to a Basic Auth endpoint, you can use nginx to act as a reverse-proxy and inject the necessary header.

1. `apt install nginx`

2. Add the following content to `/etc/nginx/sites-available/holesky-auction`

	listen 127.0.0.1:1337 default_server ;
	server_name holesky-auction ;
	location / {
		proxy_pass https://holesky-auction.securerpc.com;
		# Upgrade protocol to HTTP/1.1
		proxy_http_version 1.1;
		proxy_set_header   "Connection" "";
		# Add authentication

		# Allow streaming of requests and responses

3. Enable the site: `ln -s /etc/nginx/sites-available/holesky-auction /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/`
4. Reload the nginx config: `systemctl restart nginx`
5. Point your builder **exclusively to** `http://0xa357078fe39a532623a366d44fa27052bd6aef14e78774202afab660fa2eda3051c43c6d94167c8222ebe5ad30ae517d@127.0.0.1:1337`
