Point of the Lore is to signal what were doing so people want to coordinate with us. posterize images - turn images into comic book style museum can be just links in the website for now Deliverable: One pager for the website first rough draft May 27 June 10 95% Non fiction - Overwhelming Flavor - look at Peter's initial lore book - can emerge later Reference: https://medium.com/metacartel/a-story-of-meta-txs-483cdcfbcb4b ## First Rough Draft - (407 words) In the beginning was the tweet, [an imagining of ecosystem-wide coordination.](https://www.metacartel.org/folklore) The tweet begot a Telegram working group, focused on *a standard for delegated Txs that are communicated using the same protocol so that there can be an ecosystem wide pool of Txs for anyone with a relayer client/node to execute and earn*, also known as MetaTxs. The working group hacked all around the world and you know it was good, because they kept coming back, bringing new friends with them. From the working group, came the DAO, le cartel de Meta, vagabonds with a penchant for spice. Have you seen the logo? MetaCartel DAO gave out grants in waves, scanning hackathons for winners who aligned with the chili vibe: *If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.* Successful products grew from those grants, like Aave, Gelato and Zapper, as well as dynamic communities, like MetaFactory, MetaGame, DAOhaus and Raid Guild. Meta Cartel was now much more than a working group; it was an entire ecosystem. The ecosystem was so good that they realized a need for a place for everyone to come together. Thus, MCON, the conference about DAOs, for DAOists. After MetaFactory’s Genesis sale, MetaCartel got to building out the ecosystem. When the pandemic hit, they weren’t affected. Everyone was already working remotely from all over the world. gm friends; crypto never sleeps. Grants were still going out in waves, now including DAOs as viable recipients. With the rise in mainnet gas fees, the DAO migrated to Gnosis chain, because they actually wanted members to participate in governance. Yeah, that was good too. Paris, July 2021, the cartel emerged from pandemic lockdowns and gathered at ETHCC for what may have included a roof and mistakes that were not regrets. MetaCamp was an unconference in Costa Rica in April 2022 and MCON is now on its third iteration. The cartel saw that it was all good, even the challenges, but what makes us most proud is the impact on grant recipients, beyond Eth. A grant from MetaCartel is a signal to a growing ecosystem that an individual or a team has the esteem and support of a discerning community. For a good time, add spice.
