# TDM Workshhop: Projection in Performance

**Optional, 2 hour evening workshop for TDM concentrators**

The Learning Lab will host a workshop for TDM concentrators to introduce them to our space, get them thinking about using projection in performance, and have them try out some different aspects of using projection in stations throughout the studio.

## Station 1: Filming your own content

- green screen capture
- making gifs from that

## Station 2: Video mapping software

- Isadora vs HeavyM
- learn how to put a clip into the software and play with altering the color, speed, shapes, etc.

## Station 3: Projecting on different surfaces

- experimenting with different materials/colors
- projecting from behind vs. in front
- proximity/angle of projector from screen
