# Itinerary

# August 11

We visited eleven Rural Schools covering this area https://chocancharava.libre.org.ar/mapa.escuelas.rurales.html and various institutions such as the Rural Police and the road consortium.
Team: Daniel Bellomo, Luciana Lanzetti and German Saretti(AlterMundi) Mariela Bruno (UNRC).
Mariela was born and raised in the area (Rodeo Viejo) she is a rural producer and belongs to the Faculty of Agronomy of the UNRC. She was a reference of the place for the visit.






# August 16 / 20

On August 16 we went to Rio de Los Sauces. We used this town as a base. It is one hour from Cerro Colorado, a place involved in the project.
On Wednesday, we went with Daniel to the Escuela Rural 25 de Mayo in Cerro Colorado. Belen, Teacher and Director, unique staff of the school was our reference for this visit. He introduced us to Silvia, the nurse from the health post that also works in the school building, and to Gladis, the lady in charge of cleaning the school who lives across the street. We also met Fabricio, who is about to graduate this year. Fabricio lives 2 km from the school and is the only student because there are no more children in the area to start primary school. The only hope for the school not to close next year is for new children to enroll, an unlikely situation.
Here a meeting was held where 15 neighbors attended and where they discussed the possibility of organizing themselves as a community network to access connectivity.





# August 19

We participated in a talk at the University of Rio Cuarto, where knowledge exchange ties and possible articulations were established between the University of Rio Cuarto, El Refugio Libertad, a Rural Sovereignty project, included in the project, and AlterMundi.

# September 16 to 20
We visited the neighbors of Cerro Colorado and Las Lagunitas.

Team:Daniel Bellomo, Luciana Lanzetti and Germán Saretti from AlterMundi, Luisa Barbosa and Fransisca Valccechi, journalists and collaborators from AlterMundi.
In Cerro Colorado we visit the neighbors house by house with the help of our reference in the area, Roberto de Martini.
In Las Lagunitas, a meeting was organized with the neighbors to learn about the problems and strategies to address them. In this community they are forming a Community Network to access connectivity.
We were accompanied by Torito, who works at the UNRC and has been accompanying the neighbors in Family Farming projects for a long time.
