## Calling all Noundry artists: submit your favorite nounish traits for the nouniversary!

We are holding an experimental round to collect submissions of new nounish traits. The nouniversary Discord has showcased incredible pixel art this year and the previous one. To surface the best designs from the last two years, make an hommage to the artists, and possibly add traits to the collection, we're using Prophouse.

If this round proves successful, the top 8 submissions will be added to an onchain proposal offering a chance to become part of NounsDAO’s permanent collection!
Keep in mind that there are no guarantees, as the DAO will vote either YES or NO to the onchain proposal. This should be seen as a fun experiment to gather new nouns ideas and test the DAO's ability to make brand-aligned aesthetic choices.

The compensation for this Prophouse round is minimal, but passing the onchain proposal will likely be more generously compensated.

*Disclaimer: Submitting your art to this round does not make it automatically CC0. But if you end up winning the round, you will have to agree to release the rights to your trait and agree to place them in the public domain if the onchain prop passes.*

### **GUIDELINES**

Make sure you use the [Noundry Studio](https://studio.noundry.wtf/) to test for color compatibility.

[From the nounders in last year noundry channel,](https://discord.com/channels/849745721544146955/931247256470953994/932159019592871987) Gremplin says you should avoid:
*• obvious weapons (bomb made the cut because it’s cartoon violence)
• skin on the body (yellow thumbs up made it in as it’s generic recognizable iconography)
• people heads where it would seem like the noun is a person in a costume (there was a clown for example)
• professions/hobbies as body accessories - didn’t want to imply nouns have jobs or are specifically sports fans, etc*

Keep the head size within a circle crop for social media.


### **RULES:**
To make it to the onchain prop:

**Just one design per entry (Head OR Accessory)**. One wallet can submit multiple separate entries. Feel free to resubmit last year's entries that didnt make it.

**1) The `title` field should be your trait's name**. Ex: `Baobab`.

**2) The `Tldr` field should be your twitter handle. Nothing else.** Ex: `@ElonMusk`.
If you win, we need to be able to find you!

**3) The `description` field should not contain any text, only two pictures:**

- **A 512 by 512px image of your trait matched with current collection traits.**


Use [Noundry Studio](https://studio.noundry.wtf/) to test your trait compability with the nouns color swatch and then move to the [the Playground](https://nouns.wtf/playground) to upload your 32by32 png trait. Have fun styling the coolest noun by mixing it with the existing collection traits.


Upload your final image on [Imgur](https://imgur.com/) (or elsewhere) and use the markdown syntax to display it:
