## Navigating to private POI^1^ collection not in OpenStreetMap
For various reasons, not all POIs are available in OpenStreetMap (e.g. incompatible source license, privacy issues, temporality), and a good example of this are the Community Pantries that are popping out in many places in PH
^1^ - POI - Point of interest

## Community pantries are being mapped by #saanYanPH volunteers

:reminder_ribbon: In OSM, permanent food banks are tagged as `social_facility=food_bank` on the map.

## If POIs aren't in OSM, how do I navigate to them with my phone?
Due to their impermanent nature, these community pantries are not in OSM, and twitter.com/rukku pointed out a direct [query](https://anditabinas.carto.com/api/v2/sql?format=GeoJSON&q=SELECT%20the_geom,%20name,%20supplies,%20contact,%20number,%20street_address,%20barangay,%20municipality_city,%20province,%20region,%20sched,%20more%20FROM%20saanmaynagdedeliver) they used in their routable web [map](https://geonin.xyz/nearest-community-pantry-ph/pantry.html) with the same data:[](https://geonin.xyz/nearest-community-pantry-ph/pantry.html)

### Data Points
These instructions apply to any data points you may have, but are not in OSM. Simply convert them to a format (KML, or geoJSON, etc.) supported by your favorite OSM-consumer app, and you're good to go.
Example of data points:
* Your business outlets (why not add them to OSM?)
* Drop-off points for your delivery
* Clients you need to see for a trip
* etcetera
