# 2022-09-13 Hypercert working session
### Start
* New notion page
* Protocol vs pilot app vs mechanism vs use case
### Steps to mint hypercerts
1. Together with SFF we identify completed impactful research projects
1. One of the main contributors mints a hypercert for this project via a frontend operated by PL
1. The full hypercert is transferred to a single funder who previously funded the project
1. We suggest that the funder can display the hypercert on her website
1. We do not make any comments that the funder could sell it again, but we couldn’t actually stop that
### Meeting with RG
* Fractionalization of hypercerts
* Contributor axis
* Is it possible and a good idea to put a URL to the hypercert (e.g. on the platform that minted it) into the description? It would allow us to show a higher-fidelity version of the cert than what's possible on OpenSea (e.g. contributor lookup, owners on ENS)
* Full pre-fill link for mint form to send to pilot customers
### Building impact.storage or other domain name

## Contributor Axis
Optimal case: Every contributor is identifiable through an address
Contributors are individuals or teams
### Requirements
* Must-Haves
* Names of contributors
* Number of contributors
* Nice-to-haves
* Protection against
* Attributing work to somebody who didn't do it
* Somebody claiming work they didn't do
* Shut out a contributor
* Corollary questions
* As a contributor, can I remain anonymous (as opposed to invisible)?
* As a contributor, do I need a cryptographic id for certain features?
* Is the list of contributors exhaustive by definition?
### Application in AI Alignment
* contributor Every co-author of a paper
### Proposals / Thought Experiments
* 2 Contributor axes:
* List of strings (real names, orgs, groups, nicks, ...)
* List of IDs
* Downsides:
* Can't list contributors' other contributions

## Owners
List of addresses and we encourage owners to use ENS for us to display names, avatars and other information, e.g. URL
