# Saipan Senate Approves Casino Law Amendment

The Commonwealth Senate in the Northern Mariana Islands on Thursday passed a bill to repeal and re-enact casino laws for Saipan, clarifying the "uncertainty" of the original decree and fully empowering the local lottery board to award Saipan casino exclusive licenses, the Saipan Tribune newspaper reported.
