## Why the update came out as it is

Because terrapiatta360 (The person who proposed this patch at the first place), personally takes sides with NYA/Cat Nip Addicts(RexHackBro) and so the both of them are on the same team, leading to the patch being NYA(Cat Nip Addicts) favoured.

NYA uses Mega Plasma alot, and it barely got a nerf. Plus, Mega Rail's energy consumption probably decreased so that they could use Mega Plasma and Ions more.

## Reasons for why the update was done secretly

I got information from a player who was involved in the Balance Patch.
They did the Balance Patch secretly to avoid "Random players who think they know about the game" who come in and shout about stuff they dislike. (Ex. Loml, Tesla, Drones)
They wanted players who were "Experienced"(not necesarily good ), because last time Freejam tried to do a patch via Google Forms, it ended up as a total disaster.

This time, it ended up better than Freejam doing it, but how GCMs kept the information is a total disaster.
Again, they limited the number of people from each clan/team, but some of them lacked the responsibilties to keep information private, they lacked the discipline and the self-awareness as someone changing the game balance.
