**Noo Tools NAO**

Networked Autonomous Organisms (NAO) is a vision of networks self-owning and self-governing their social graphs which are (a) deeply embedded with trust and respect, (b) continually overlapping and co-composing, and ( c) co-evolving as the network's shared relationships are collectively articulated; effectively (d) co-growing a shared commons. The most immediate impactful manifestation is establishing an expertise network cooperative as a template for further NAOs. The knowledge and respect we have for each other is valuable information, but largely inaccessible to software. By 'marking' others we trust and appreciate, the resulting and expanding collection of edges increases the value and utility of the network commons. Networks have a unique and so far largely untapped capacity for complex coordination, e.g. multi-scale resource allocation, or catalyzing movements to achieve collective action. NAOs are governed using a new legal structure, combining DAO and platform coop – the network cooperative.
