The Qatar Ladies Open is a WTA 500 event at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.

The event has been held since 2001 and is currently sponsored by Total, giving it the name the Qatar TotalEnergies Open. It is usually held in mid-February after the Australian Open.

The tournament shares status with Dubai, with each tournament alternating between WTA 500 and WTA 1000 every year.

For 2023, Qatar is a WTA 500, and the total prize money is $780,637, a jump of 38.04% compared to 2021 (Doha was a WTA 1000 last year). And 1.6% more than Dubai offered last year during the WTA 500 event.

The champion in Qatar will take home a cheque for $120,150, a 75.2% increase vs 2021. The runner-up will receive $74,161, up 45.4% vs two years ago.
