The program is offered periodically as a sychronous course, led by one of the Leventhal Map & Education Center librarians, but materials are available online for anyone to access at any time. Over the course of the three sessions, participants will learn what kinds of information is needed to make a map on a computer and how to ask questions of this information. The course aims to equip participants with a careful and critical attitude towards the social power of computer data and the maps produced with it.
