At the welcome desk we have a view of who is currently working. Please add yourself to this view when you arrive! **how**: fill out the super quick vibe check form and then toggle back to the card view of everyone. Then when you are heading out, just click the "check out" button on your card and it will vanish from the view! **bonus**: submit new vibe options if you want to--just ask jordan how! ### work stations/work assignments. We have specific stations you will be assigned to for each work assignment you do. These assignments will be determined based on the skills you have shown and the interests you have communicated to us. You can find your work assignments either at the welcome desk when you arrive or on slack! Some of the work stations include: - welcome desk - show and tell (reports, weekly updates, pod time) - event processing (stills, gifs, selects, AI, paper capture) - paper and button (event materials prep, ) - space (cleaning, chalk art) - R & R...aka: reviews and resources (new tool reviews, student guide drafts) ### visual documentation of your work It is important to keep notes, materials, and visual documentation on what you work on this term-especially as it will help make your pod time more awesome and will help generate some really cool ideas on how to document process of student work across the projects we engage with. Because we are doing the show and tell during pod time and we are leveraging AI in our systems this spring, the form in which you document you work can be creative and flexible and align with what you are really good at and enjoy producing! Here are some options, but we are also down to hear any pitches of additional documentation as well! - hackMD journal - physical journal/sketchbook - a folder or bin of objects - printed photos Whatever you choose, we ask that you be able to document your work in a timeframe that makes sense to the amount of time you spend working, specifically we ask that you spend no more than 10% of your worktime documenting. So if you have an hour long shift, it would make sense to spend about 5 minutes or so on the documentation. If you do a chalk drawing for 20 minutes, just take 30 seconds to snap a picture of your artwork and post to slack! ### pods. "pod" = a small group of LLUFs who all come in to work in the space together at the same time each week. It is meant to be a time for: - trying out new things together, and teaching each other new skills - staying in touch about the different projects we are each exploring - structuring our reporting and storytelling of the work we do. We will curate the pods based on your availability, skills, and interests. the pods will work within the conceptual space of the show and tell work station. ### slack. Check slack every day you work, or more if you want (and post something as often as you can!!). **The channels to check each time you come in include:** - [ ] Have you been tagged in any channels or messages?
